Here is the new work I created for my Uncanny Valleys solo show. Most of them involved 3D fractals I created in Mandelbulb 3D and then continued to paint over and manipulate until I came up with the surreal landscapes you see. I used this technique in my Fearful Symmetry and Premorse solo shows as well! Continue reading
Yep! I’m happy to say that I’ll be the featured artist in the window of the Bower-Suhrheinrich Foundation Gallery from January 9 to February 4 (or possibly 5). I’m quite grateful to be given this awesome chance to show off my recent work, as well as a couple of pieces I just finished last night.
(Or this morning at 3am, depending on how accurate you wish to be!)
Coming from the amazing Corvidae Collective Gallery and Boutique in Nashville, TN is its latest show, Nomadic Views! Featuring “fantastical views from this world and Beyond,” it promises to be fantastic. I am very honored to have two pieces included in this show. Also, I’m sorry I couldn’t find a bigger image of “Stardust” by Karen Short for the feature image, I just used the one from the show description below. Looks freaking awesome though.
The exhibit they’re currently showing, LIT, featuring artwork inspired by banned and challenged classics, is amazing too. My favorite is the Catcher in the Rye piece but they’re all great.
That’s right, The Art Council of Doom’s second Sci-Fi themed show opening is TONIGHT!!! As you can imagine, it’s all space-themed art including Star Trek and Star Wars stuff. In my case I have archival prints of Yggdrasil and a new piece, Nebula for sale! I’ll post Nebula for you all sometime after the opening.
See you there! =D
Show runs through the end of August at Angel Mounds State Historic Site, here is the Facebook Event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/557546804350064/
