I am so incredibly excited to be going to Evillecon this weekend! My friend Cora Dean and I will be displaying side by side in the Artist Alley all weekend and we can’t wait to see you all!
Here’s our locations in the Alley: right next to an entrance! Continue reading
Me and my friend Cora had an amazing time!! Here’s some pictures for you. We’ll be back again for Evillecon 2018, so look for us there!
I did her as part of a series of original “anime style” designs for Evillecon 2016! (Which, by the way, was incredibly fun.)
Evillecon raced up so fast this year I can’t even believe it’s here. As always, I’ll be there in the Artist’s Alley with my friend and booth partner Cora Dean, selling our sometimes cute and sometimes horrifying (okay that last bit is me) original and anime culture creations!
The convention is at Old National Events Plaza this coming March 18-20. Can’t wait to see you there.
I will be doing my best to adhere to the policies of any original creator(s) where fan art is involved. My personal policy is to only feature fan art I was commissioned to make, or something I researched/asked and determined I could offer for sale in a limited way. This policy has evolved over the years into what it is now, so if I’ve missed someone in the process I offer my sincere apologies.
Presumably from my unlighted jail cell.
I made this gearing up for Evillecon. Since Evillecon is an anime [Japanese animation/cartoons] convention, the subject is anime related! These gears, clocks and spider-lilies (higanbana) are all symbols associated with one of my favorite anime characters, Akemi Homura. If you’ve ever seen a show called Puella Magi Madoka Magica (or just “Madoka Magica” in the U.S.) you know who I mean! If not and you’re a geek like me, I highly recommend it. It’s definitely not your typical cutesy magical girl anime.
Naturally, I think this baby looks particularly good as a clock.
