The Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana is having their annual Art in the City show, starting with their opening reception tomorrow! Art in the City is the Arts Council’s annual members exhibition, with its Facebook Events Page here: https://www.facebook.com/events/705937039437700/

The reception is May 23, 5PM-7:30PM with an awards ceremony at 6pm. The show runs until June 27th. Another one of those shows I wanted to be in but couldn’t do this summer due to scheduling conflicts. D’oh!! Fortunately there’s always next year, and in the meantime lots of nice art to enjoy this year. There’s at least three fellow Arts Council of Doom members in the show too (some of us like to double dip), Scott Scheller, Matt Perez and JoAnn Goodman. I’m a big fan of their work so I can’t wait to see what they and others there have to offer us this year!
