The day has finally come. If you haven’t come out yet, come join us on West Franklin Street for a day of family activities starting with the color run and including the outdoor art sale, a sidewalk chalk competition, two art shows, a free concert, and a huge kids’ setup with zorb balls, inflatable bounce-houses and art and science stations. I’ll be doing my thing along with more than 60 other artist booths on the front lawn of the park surrounding the West Branch Library, between the Wabash and 12th intersections. Here’s the Event Page for the whole schlemozzle: 2nd annual Color Me Fun 5K, Earth Day, Art Crawl and FREE concert on Franklin 4/19
Hope I see you there!
We couldn’t have asked for a better day! It was gorgeous sunshine the whole day. Nice crowd. Warm but not hot, a slight breeze but no tents flying! Creative and interesting people everywhere! It was a fantastic outdoor event, I had a blast. I wish all of the upcoming outdoor events could be so perfect. Well done Heather. 🙂
Oh wow that’s awesome to hear. Well, good news for you: the Franklin Street Events Association is gearing up to have a weekly farmer’s market in the same place AND having artists and vendors there too. They’re having an informational meeting for interested artists/etc on May 14th at Smitty’s, here’s the event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/584793188301546/
